What’s on in March.

Trade shows and related industry events are a great way to meet key figures in – and learn more about – new market sectors. The COVID-19 pandemic-related gathering limits and travel restrictions have impacted the events sector; however, many intrepid planners have pivoted to an online experience, allowing business activities to continue, and new connections to form.

To help you plan your schedule, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of what’s happening online in March 2021.

Western Innovation Forum: “AIAC [Aerospace Industry Association of Canada] is pleased to partner with Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) once again this year on the Western Innovation Forum…” Runs March 2 to 4.

The Gem Expo: The Gem Expo’s “March Madness” event runs a full two weeks, March 1 to 14. A full schedule is available on their website.

Canadian Golf Course Management Conference: “The Canadian Golf Course Management Conference will be held virtually!  You can enjoy the event from your home or office no travel involved!” Runs March 2 through 4.

DX3 2021: “Through interactive installations and provocative content, DX3 is your one-stop-shop for taking advantage of everything retail, digital marketing, and tech has to offer.” Runs March 2 to 5.

National Coffee Association Virtual Convention: This year’s event includes speakers sessions and virtual exhibits. Runs March 3 to 5.

PDAC 2021 – The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada’s annual convention is “the world’s premier mineral exploration and mining event” and runs March 8 through 11.

#plant21, Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show: “What’s on your mind as you start the 2021 growing season? We’ll share ideas on maximizing profitability through small changes, planting equipment tips and news, plus what’s on the horizon as another season gets underway. ” Runs March 10.

Top 50 Packaging Ideas Showcase: “Meet some of the most innovative suppliers of the best new packaging materials, containers, machines and automation…” Events happen March 16 and again in June.

Keys to a Blue Economy, Part 3: Water Canada’s “four-part series focuses on how Canada should define its blue economy and all of the key elements that will ensure a strong national water sector.” Scheduled for March 17.

Healthier by Nature: “The Healthier by Nature Expo is a one-day virtual event that finally brings back the element of consumer discovery that we’ve all been missing this past year.” Happens March 20.

WEDC Global Trade Venture: Canada 2021: A big one for us. “WEDC has converted its Global Trade Ventures into a virtual format that consists of online meetings between Wisconsin companies and potential customers, distributors and other prospective partners in international markets.” March 22 to 26.

Americana: “Americana — the leading multi-sector event in North America — is a prime meeting place for environmental professionals to discuss technical, scientific and business topics regarding key issues in the environmental sector.” Runs March 22 and 23.

AIAC’s Thrust Virtual Event: This aerospace event will cover topics including environmental sustainability, opportunities for space, and the future of propulsion. Runs March 23 to 25.

Cottage Life Spring Show: Cottage Life’s Spring Show will be virtual, with in-person events scheduled for the fall and 2022. Runs March 26 to 28.

Pharmacy U: “Pharmacy U 2021 will bring you the clinical, business and practice-focused continuing education you expect, with a new and exciting twist.” Events scheduled for March 27, 29, and 30.
