Like September, October will be busy.

It’s a busy fall for in-person trade and consumer events. From manufacturing to grocery to winter sports equipment, a full cross-country events schedule is listed below.

SecTor Security Conference – SecTor lets IT security professionals, managers, and executives connect with their peers and learn from their mentors. Black Hat trainings run October 1 to 4, with conference sessions on October 5 and 6 in Toronto, ON.

Canadian Process & Automation Shows – Meet with national and local experts, try new products, compare technologies and prices, and visit many companies at this must-attend event. There are three shows this month; October 4 (Mississauga, ON), October 25 (Winnipeg, MB), and October 27 (Regina, SK).

DEFSEC Atlantic – DEFSEC Atlantic “is a major networking opportunity for the Aerospace, Defence and Security industries – the second largest of its kind in Canada.” Runs October 4 to 6 in Halifax, NS.

Big Data Toronto – This conference and exhibition brings together key players, solutions providers, and experts covering a wide swathe of topics. Takes place October 6 to 7, in Toronto, ON.

WEAR Conference – WEAR brings “global brand owners, retailers, academics, manufacturers, NGO’s [sic], innovators, and policy makers together, to accelerate our collective efforts toward progress and a more conscious fashion future.” Runs October 6 and 7 in Toronto, ON.

Retail Holiday Shopping Forum – Find trends, marketing strategies, survey results, and navigate retail strategies at this pre-holiday event. Takes place October 13 in Toronto, ON.

Meat Industry Expo – This expo is the only events of its kind in Canada, “offering suppliers and business owners in the meat processing industry a chance to … connect and discover the latest innovations and solutions.” Runs October 14 and 15 in Niagara Falls, ON.

Esthetique Spa International – ESI has been “bringing beauty professionals together for over 30 years.” The last of four cross-Canada shows takes place October 16 and 17 in Montreal, QC.

Security Canada – “The biggest and most important security show in Canada” includes thousands of professionals from all sectors, who come to network, learn, and find the hottest technology trends. Runs October 19 and 20, in Toronto, ON.

Toronto International Snowmobile ATV & Powersports Show – Snowmobile, ATV, and powersports enthusiasts will find an “incredible roster of exhibitors and … feature events taking place around the show.” Runs October 21 to 23 in Toronto, ON.

National Women’s Show – The “ultimate girls’ night out” features food, fashion, and fun, with exclusive products, delicious food, and hot trends. Runs October 22 and 23 in Ottawa, ON.

High Point Market – High Point is where “inspiration abounds”, and features “showroom after showroom of meticulous design,” as well as educational opportunities and conferences. Runs October 22 to 26 in High Point, North Carolina.

Canadian Restaurant & Bar Show – Tagged as “the most unique foodservice industry show in Canada,” offering owners, operators, managers, and chefs with a unique, informative, entertaining show experience. Takes place October 23 to 24 in Mississauga, ON.

Grocery Innovations Canada – “Connect and thrive … [with] retailers, manufacturers, suppliers and service providers … at Canada’s largest grocery trade event.” Takes place October 25 and 26 in Toronto, ON.

BuildEX Alberta – “Canada’s largest [series of] conferences and trade shows for property management, interior design, architecture, construction, and renovation.” Runs October 26 to 27, in Calgary, AB.

STIQ Canadian Defense and Security Market Symposium – The Symposium’s 7th edition features a suppliers day, conference, industrial training, and other major events. Takes place October 26 and 27 in Montreal, QC.

Electricity Transformation Canada – ETC brings together “all key players from wind energy, solar energy, energy storage, complementary technologies and other stakeholders to network and collaborate at Canada’s largest renewable energy and storage industry conference and exhibition.” Runs October 26 to 28 in Toronto, ON.

Kitchen & Bath Canada – Canada’s only trade show dedicated to the kitchen and bath industry runs October 26 to 28, in Toronto, ON.

Retail West – This event is a place where “regional and national retail experts share modern strategies for success in Western Canada and nationwide.” Takes place October 27 in Vancouver, BC.

Toronto Art Expo – The fair features more than 90 galleries from across Canada, the US, and abroad. Takes place October 27 to 30 in Toronto, ON.

Toronto Ski & Snowboard Show – This show is the “official start of winter” – where ski and snowboard enthusiasts can find the newest gear, book deals on travel, and meet other people who love the cooler months. Runs October 28 to 30 in Mississauga, ON.

Franchise Expo – The Franchise Expo takes place in 25 cities across North America, and offers a look at potential opportunities for interested parties. This iteration runs October 29 to 30 in Montreal, QC.

Zoomer Show – “Canada’s largest consumer show focussed on helping adults 45+ live better – and longer.” Show runs October 29 and 30 in Toronto, ON.
