The 2021 trade show and event season is slowing down for the summer months, so we’re combining the June through August events into one post. (Note that with the Canada-U.S. border closure extended and Canada’s Covid-related travel restrictions still in effect, most events are virtual; monitor the websites listed for updates.)
High Point Market – “The High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, bringing more than 75,000 people to High Point, North Carolina, every six months.” Market runs June 5 to 9.
Land & Development Conference – “The 2021 Land & Development Conference will focus on real-time trends and opportunities impacting owners, developers, investors and lenders. Knowledge leaders and industry executives will provide market insights on development, acquisition and disposition strategies, challenges, opportunities and risks.” This year’s conference runs virtually, June 8 & 9.
Power Transmission Distributors Association Canadian Conference – “The PTDA Virtual Canadian Conference is a must-attend event for PT/MC Canadian distributors and manufacturers doing business in Canada.” This year’s virtual conference runs June 9 & 10.
Security Canada – “Connect with colleagues and network with industry professionals in our live Zoom-based booths and attendee lounges, discover the hottest security technologies and trends on our virtual show floor, and learn from industry-leading keynote speakers and expert panels.” Show is scheduled for June 9 & 10.
Top 50 Packaging Ideas Showcase – “…an online exhibition of leading Canadian suppliers of packaging technologies and materials designed as an interactive trade show and meeting place for packaging professionals stay on top of the latest packaging and labeling trends, new business opportunities, and sustainability solutions for expanding your company’s packaging competence and competitiveness in the new Circular Economy.” Virtual event is scheduled for June 10.
Canadian Association of Road Safety Professionals (CARSP) & La Prévention Routière Internationale (PRI) Joint Virtual Conference – “The [joint] conference is aimed at road safety practitioners from many disciplines, including, but not limited to: health professionals, engineers, government officials, crash re-constructionists, insurers, researchers, and enforcement personnel.” The conference runs virtually from August 22 to 25.
