Trade events are a great way to make connections in a new market. The pandemic has forced many of these events to go online – and every month we offer a guide to what’s happening in various sectors. Below is a list of events for April, 2021.
CPMA Fresh Week – The Canadian Produce Marketing Association’s show agenda includes product previews, consumer insights, and keynote speeches from speakers like Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (who holds a Doctorate of Medicine AND is a 2020 Superbowl champion). Runs April 12 to 16.
CHFA Connect – A “ground-breaking, virtual event that is going to bring us all together as a community to inspire creativity and foster collaboration.” Agenda includes appointment bookings, one-on-one videos and online chats, an exhibitor lounge and product showcase – all for the health food sector. Runs April 16 and 17.
IMATS – The International Make-up Artist Trade Show is the world’s largest celebration of make-up artistry and features thousands of artists, exhibitors, and enthusiasts who gather to discuss, display, and collect the best the industry has to offer. Runs April 16 to 18.
Collision Conference – “…one of the world’s biggest tech conferences,” as per Bloomberg. About 40,000 online participants are expected for this year’s event, running April 20 to 22.
Keys to a Blue Economy – Water Canada’s four-part series concludes this month with Innovating the Blue Economy – a deeper dive into questions such as barriers to adopting innovative technologies, the champions of water innovation, and projects that demonstrate the biggest impact. Runs April 21.
PM Springfest – a two-day online educational conference for the property management industry, with topics that include building envelope, legal and regulatory issues, sustainability, and innovation. Runs April 21 to 22.
DTL Quebec Forum – A must-see retail event designed specifically for Quebec retail leaders. The conference will explore the latest trends in the industry, marketing strategies, human resources challenges and more. Takes place April 29.
