If you told us a few months ago that our pandemic trade show calendar would be pretty full, we would have chuckled. But thanks to technology, that’s exactly what’s happening.
A few weeks ago we posted a list of trade events that have transitioned from the physical to virtual environment. The list was already quite substantial – and you can now add the World Circular Economy Forum to that line-up.
From the WCEFOnline website:
Led by the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, Finland has joined forces with Canada and the Netherlands to host three high level events to address the important role circularity plays in the economies of the future, as well as in the fight against climate change and the nature crisis.
This year’s event was to take place in Toronto (its first time in North America), but has moved online due to COVID-19. The physical event has been pushed to September 13 to 15, 2021 – and again, in Toronto. A one-day event has also been scheduled in the Netherlands next spring.
WCEFOnline could be a very interesting – and very timely – trade event. Keep watching our blog – and our Twitter feed – for an update on this and other industry events.
