We’re almost finished two months of lock-down, and let’s face it – it’s been tough. We’re stressed, confused, and we miss our routines and our socializing. But although some places are now relaxing restrictions, it will be quite some time before we can move around like we did early this year.
As part of Mental Health Week, the Canadian Mental Health Association has released a Social Distancing Survival Guide, a very important read for all of us now. It includes good tips, such as:
- Making social check-ins a regular part of your routine,
- Letting yourself be vulnerable,
- Practice listening, and
- Joining a virtual community.
You can read the guide in its entirety here. It’s a valuable document, and should be bookmarked or pinned to your browser for regular review.
Stay safe, stay well – and keep washing those hands.
