What’s on April ’24 (updated).

Every month we present a list of trade (and consumer) events happening across Canada. We do this because they’re an excellent entry point into a new market; they give visitors and exhibitors a chance to make connections, find new products/services, and learn about industry trends.

Below is a list of events happening across Canada in April; click the links to learn more about each.

CHFA NOW (April 2 to 5, Vancouver BC) – “Connecting with our industry partners in such an energizing and inspiring setting is the highlight of the year! Food and beverage businesses, and the network that supports them, need to come together like a community, like a family, and this event makes it happen beautifully.”

TO Food & Drink Fest (April 5 to 7, Toronto ON) – “3 epic days of incredible food, drink, culinary demos, shopping, music + much much more!”

Spring Toronto Motorcycle Supershow (April 6 to 7, Toronto ON) – “Check out all the newest items in motorcycling in displays with new bikes, walk the vintage motorcycles exhibition, discover hot shopping bargains, check out the used bike market and find all of your parts & accessories.”

Franchise Expo (April 6 to 7, Vancouver BC; April 21 to 22, Ottawa ON) – “Take the first step to your success, find the business that is right for you at the National Franchise Show. You can be your own boss and own a business that is already established and has a track record of success.”

WEDC Trade Venture to Canada (April 7 to 12, Toronto ON & Winnipeg, MB) – Oh, we’re looking forward to this! Every year we join select companies from Wisconsin and help them find opportunities in the Canadian market. Restaurants Canada Show (April 8 to 10, Toronto ON) – “The ultimate celebration of food and beverage. Serving up trend-forward ideas and inspiration to the industry.”

DX3 Canada (April 9 to 10, Toronto ON) – Canada’s biggest retail, marketing, and technology event features more than 150 speakers, more than 50 exhibitors, and over 2,000 attendees in one convenient location.

DEX Expo (April 10, Langley BC; and April 30, Winnipeg MB) – “A series of one day regional table-top tradeshow where engineers, product developers, machine builders and systems integrators can discuss, network, and solicit advice on the latest technologies and applications that drive their businesses.” Runs in conjunction with the Metalworking & Manufacturing Expo.

Cottage Life Show Ottawa (April 12 to 14, Ottawa ON) – “Meet exhibitors showing docks, builders, contractors, innovative building products, green solutions, decor and style, arts and crafts, food and entertaining, water toys and more.”

Pharmacy U (April 13, Toronto ON) – “Pharmacy U Toronto is the heartbeat of innovation in pharmacy, where industry titans and passionate pharmacists converge.”

National Women’s Show (April 13 to 14, Calgary AB) – “Experience the fashion, food and fun!” Shop for exclusive products from hundreds of exhibits, sample food and wine, indulge in free mini makeovers, and see the hottest styles from the best brands and local designers.

Esthetique Spa International (April 14 to 15, Toronto ON) – “The largest trade show in Canada for all beauty industry professionals. Experience our interactive live lectures and classes while you discover new suppliers from across Canada.”

Smart Energy Event (April 15 to 16, Halifax NS) – “Focusing on timely actions for decarbonizing communities and ultimately achieving net zero targets, Smart Energy Event showcases the innovators who are changing the world.  Meet with experts who are leading their organizations through energy transitions and see the technologies that will clear the pathway to net zero.”

Plant Forward (April 16 to 18, Toronto ON) – “Plant Forward is the premier plant-based food and ingredient conference for decision-makers in the global plant protein sector. Join industry leaders as we accelerate the innovation and adoption of plant-based foods to support the global food system shift.”

DiscoveryX (April 17 to 18, Toronto ON) – DiscoveryX is “an immersive experience where innovators, thought leaders, and visionaries unite to explore cutting-edge breakthroughs, share gamechanging ideas, and forge partnerships propelling innovation to new heights.”

DigiMarCon Canada (April 18 to 19, Toronto ON) – “Join your peers in-person or online for 2 days jam packed with digital marketing best practices, latest trends, practical solutions, strategy and networking…”

TECHSPO Toronto (April 18 to 19, Toronto ON) – “TECHSPO Toronto brings together some of the best developers, brands, marketers, technology providers, designers, innovators and evangelists looking to set the pace in our advanced world of technology.”

Truck World (April 18 to 20, Mississauga ON) – “The meeting place for Canada’s trucking industry! Stay up to date with everything trucking. Discover the latest trucks, equipment, and innovations. Learn about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Connect with 500+ exhibitors and explore show features…”

Grocery & Specialty Foods West (April 22 to 23, Vancouver BC) – “Bringing together retailers and manufacturers from across the nation to discover new innovations, and build relationships within the grocery industry.”

Canadian Hydrogen Convention (April 23 to 25, Edmonton AB) – “This must-attend show will offer a unique perspective for the entire Canadian supply chain to discuss innovations and solutions for low-carbon hydrogen production, storage, utilization, and hydrogen’s future as a key fuel.”

Top Glass Canada (April 29 & 30, Mississauga ON) – “Now in it’s 10th year, Top Glass hosts glazing contractors, glass fabricators, architects and façade designers for a one-day conference and vendor expo laser-focused on building with glass.”
