What’s on in January (2024’s first schedule).

December is a quiet month for trade shows, but it’s not too early to start planning your 2024 activities!

Every month we present a list of trade (and consumer) events happening across Canada. We do this because they’re an excellent entry point into a new market; they give visitors and exhibitors a chance to make connections, find new products/services, and learn about industry trends. Below is a list of events scheduled for January, 2024. Click the links to learn more.

Landscape Ontario Congress & Trade Show (January 9-11, 2024; Toronto, ON) – “Landscape Ontario Congress is Canada’s largest and longest running trade show and conference for landscape professionals. With over 400 exhibitors covering more than 8 acres, Congress is a one-stop-shop for the latest equipment, tools, materials and supplies; everything you need to do what you do best.” 

Lift & Co. Cannabis Expo (January 11-13, 2024; Vancouver, BC) – “Lift is the premiere gathering of top cannabis business leaders, subject matter experts, innovators and regulators. Join us as we return to Vancouver from January 11-13, 2024, for the only event connecting the full cannabis industry and community in Western Canada.”

Imprint Canada Show (January 12-13, 2024; Toronto, ON) – The show is “a valuable tool for connecting industry professionals … Viewing samples, learning from experts is important to understanding garments and embellishment possibilities.”

Canada’s Bridal Show (January 12-14, 2024; Toronto, ON) – The “largest wedding show in Canada” features fashions and trends, resources and exhibits, and all the info needed for planning that big day.

Interior Design Show (January 18-21, 2024; Toronto, ON) – “Join us to celebrate a quarter century of Canada’s design fair… Expect leading brands from Canada and the rest of the world; a roster of international leaders in design thinking on our keynote stage and seminars; and immersive installations to inspire and delight.”

Montreal Auto Show (January 19-28, 2024; Montreal, QC) – “Founded in 1914 by the Corporation des concessionnaires d’automobiles de Montréal, the Montreal International Auto Show is the most important auto show in Québec.”

Toronto International Boat Show (January 19-28, 2024; Toronto, ON) – “In one pavilion, you will find the people, tools, and resources to answer your boating questions.  Boating experts, authorities & recreational organizations will be available to provide unbiased answers and information to empower safe boating, confidence, and preparation to get out on the water safely and discover the boating lifestyle!” 

Guelph Organic Conference (January 24-27, 2024; Guelph, ON) – “Since 2003, the Guelph Organic Conference has been organized to promote organic agriculture and related topics through educational workshops and panel discussions, showcasing products and services through the trade show, and connecting individuals, businesses and organizations within the organic sector.”

Toronto Market Week (January 28-30, 2024; Toronto, ON) “Join Canada’s fastest growing B2B tradeshow in the fashion, gift, and home industries. Discover what’s new and trending. Find what you need to stock your stores. All at one destination.”

Toronto Gift & Home Market (January 28 to February 1, 2024; Toronto, ON) – “Canadian Gift & Home Markets are the biggest & longest running events in the industry. Since 1976 we have been bringing buyers and sellers together with style.”

Partners in Prevention Greenhouse Health & Safety Symposium (January 30, 2024; Leamington, ON) – “Aimed at senior leaders who own/operate and/or manage greenhouse employees, this Symposium will provide an awareness of the issues the industry and discuss proactive measures that can be put in place today to prevent future incidents from occurring.”
