What’s on April ’23.

We can’t say it enough: trade shows (and related events) are a great way to learn about – and make connections in – a new market. So every month we gather a list of what’s on across Canada, across a wide range of industries, and post them here. Click on the links below for more information about each show.

Pharmacy U – “Canada’s only conference dedicated to the business of pharmacy.” Event takes place April 1 in Toronto, ON.

Toronto Motorcycle Spring Show – “The show for motorcyclists by motorcyclists.” Runs April 1 and 2 in Toronto, ON.

Franchise Expo – “This is your only opportunity to meet with the hottest businesses face to face. Ask questions and get the information you need in a no pressure environment.” There are two events this month – April 1 and 2 in Vancouver, BC, and April 15 and 16 in Saskatoon, SK.

ROOFTech – “Canada’s only dedicated sourcing & educational forum on all aspects of roofing systems & technologies.” Runs April 4 and 5 in Toronto, ON.

SmartMTX – “Western Canada’s newest platform to explore ideas and opportunities that fuel smart manufacturing growth and innovation.” Runs April 4 to 5 in Red Deer, AB.

Aeromart Montreal – “The global platform that brings together the entire aerospace ecosystem” features conferences, speakers, and the Global Supply Chain Summit. Runs April 4 to 6 in Montreal, QC, and includes the Global Aerospace Supply Chain Summit on April 4.

Restaurants Canada Show – “The foodservice and hospitality event of the year” includes trusted brands, cost-saving products and services, experts and innovators, and more. Runs April 10 to 12 in Toronto, ON.

DEX Expo West – “For years, the travelling Design Engineering Expo (DEX) has moved across Canada showcasing the latest products and services to Design Engineering magazine’s audience of mechanical engineers, machine builders and product design professionals.” Show takes place on April 12 in Langley, BC.

Yoga Conference & Trade Show – This event features 300 exhibitors and 700 hours of world-class sessions for yoga enthusiasts. Show runs April 13 to 16 in Toronto, ON.

National Women’s Show – “The ultimate girl’s day out” includes products, food and wine samples, healthy living tips, makeovers, and more. There are two events this month – April 14 to 16 in Montreal, QC, and April 22 and 23 in Calgary, AB.

PM Springfest – “PM Springfest brings together property management professionals to connect with leading suppliers, explore new innovations and learn from industry experts about latest regulatory, health, and life safety changes; efficient energy management strategies; retrofitting aging buildings; essential capital planning details; and much more.” Takes place April 20 in Toronto, ON.

RCC Human Resources Conference – “Immerse yourself in a full day of inspirational speakers and talent leaders who will share the inside track on how they’re putting talent first at their organizations.” Takes place April 20 in Mississauga, ON.

Ottawa Cottage Life & Backyard Show – “Meet exhibitors showing docks, builders, contractors, innovative building products, green solutions, decor and style, arts and crafts, food and entertaining, water toys and more.” Runs April 21 to 23 in Ottawa, ON.

High Point Spring Market – While this one doesn’t take place in Canada, it’s a prime event for Canadian home furnishing industry insiders. Runs April 22 to 26 in High Point, NC.

Grocery & Specialty Foods West – “This is the only event that brings together all aspects of the grocery industry in one place. With over 65,000 square feet of exhibition space, you’ll find dedicated pavilions focused on key categories such as equipment, technology, food services, garden, financial, and insurance.Runs April 24 and 25 in Vancouver, BC.

Canadian Hydrogen Convention – “This must-attend event will bring the entire Canadian supply chain together to discuss innovations and solutions for low-carbon hydrogen production, energy infrastructure, storage and the path forward as Canada works towards net zero by 2050.” Runs from April 25 to 27 in Edmonton, AB.

CPMA Convention & Trade Show – The Canadian Produce Marketing Association’s show includes exhibits, new product showcase, social events, educational opportunities, and more. Runs April 25 to 27 in Toronto, ON.

Canadian Process & Automation Shows – “Canadian Process Equipment & Control News is bringing dozens of world class experts to your neighbourhood for one day only at the PROCESS & AUTOMATION show!” The April event takes place on the 26th in Sarnia, ON.

Security Canada East – “The Security Canada shows are the largest, most comprehensive and well-attended events of their kind in the national security industry.” Event takes place April 26 in Laval, QC.

Esthetique Spa International – “…the largest trade event that reunites professionals and suppliers from the entire beauty industry. Offering you world-class education to increase your knowledge, your skills and grow your revenues.” Runs April 30 to May 1 in Toronto, ON.
