What’s on in February and March.

As we’ve mentioned before, trade shows and related events can often be a great route to a new market. They allow attendees to network and connect directly with new products and technology.

Of course, a global pandemic has altered many plans. COVID-19 mitigation measures (and the rise of highly transmissible variants) have forced planners to take different paths to these events. Some have cancelled or postponed, and others have moved to a virtual platform that allows participants a chance to maintain and build industry connections.

Below is a list of events scheduled for February and March; they are virtual or hybrid and, in theory, should be less likely to be rescheduled, although we recommend monitoring these websites regularly to stay abreast of changes.

Aerospace Conference – Presented via partnership between the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada and the Canadian Council for Aviation & Aerospace, this two-day virtual conference will focus on “what is needed to build the skilled workforce of tomorrow.” Runs February 16 to 17.

CanGift’s Virtual Gift & Home Market – CanGift is running a month-long virtual market from February 25 to March 31, allowing global brands to meet on an easily-accessible platform, connect with vendors, and find new products and content.

Recruit in Canada Education Fair – The Recruit in Canada fairs attract visitors from around the world. This year’s virtual event runs February 25 and 26.

Canadian Golf Course Management Conference – Instead of an in-person event in January, organizers postponed the conference and rescheduled a virtual event, taking place March 1 to 3. This event will feature education sessions, networking, and the chance to browse booths and chat with vendors in real time.

DX3 – Canada’s biggest retail, marketing, and technology event will take place virtually March 8 and 9, and will feature international speakers, workshops, innovative solutions, tech demonstrations, and more.

WEDC Virtual Trade Venture to Canada – Every year, we look forward to helping Wisconsin-based companies make connections in the Canadian market! Once again, the 2022 event (March 21-25) will be held virtually. Click the event link for information and registration details, and follow us on Twitter for regular updates.

GLOBE Forum – The North American sustainability and climate community will meet in Vancouver March 29 to 31 to connect and collaborate on a net-zero future. Content will also be streamed live and on-demand, allowing remote viewers to participate in virtual sessions and the virtual marketplace.
