What’s on in May.

Trade events are an important part of any market entry strategy. They give participants a chance to make connections in – and learn about – new market sectors. COVID-19 mitigation strategies have forced event planners to pivot to an online model; below are a list of virtual trade events for those looking to learn more about the Canadian health, grocery, technology, and aerospace sectors (among others).

GSF West Live Retailer Connect 2021 – This event is “your virtual gateway onto Western Canada’s Grocery Shelves… The virtual platform will bring together customers and sector stakeholders from all around the globe and provide face-to-face meetings, networking, and relationship-building…” May 11-12.

Trenchless Technology Virtual Road Show – The industry’s leading experts will present five days’ worth of technical sessions on a wide variety of topics covering new pipeline construction techniques, pipeline condition assessment and lining solutions, among others. May 11-13, 18, and 20.

Retrofit Canada Conference – “The first annual Retrofit Canada Conference will focus on the opportunities for innovation to achieve greater sustainability and energy efficiency through retrofitting Canada’s infrastructure and buildings – commercial, industry, schools, government and residential.” May 12-13.

iTech Spring – Conference includes keynote speeches, livestreamed content, discussion forums, and one-on-one networking with participants and vendors. May 18.
