A good read for small businesses in 2020.

Describing 2020 as a challenging year for small businesses is the ultimate understatement.

Mercifully, there has been a great deal of information and resources made available to help mitigate the devastating effects of shutdowns and business slowdowns. We particularly like this article – a checklist for reopening, and includes tips such as:

  • Updating your website’s home page with reopening information (we’ve mentioned the importance of your company’s website in a previous post),
  • Adding a reopening FAQ section,
  • Adding your health and safety precautions, and
  • Updating your call to action.

The article also includes suggestions about email marketing campaigns – a good idea, but we recommend familiarizing yourself with your target market’s anti-spam laws before hitting send.
