Now that the fall trade show season has started, it’s time to think about 2026. (A jarring thought, yes, but it’s important.)
Trade shows and other industry events are great conduits to a new market, and Canada’s show circuit is going to be busy in January. Below is a list of trade (and consumer) events happening across the country early in the new year.
Landscape Ontario Congress & Trade Show (January 6 to 8; Toronto, ON) – This event features sessions from experts in the landscaping sector, exhibits, awards, demonstrations, and social events.
National Imprint Canada Show (January 9 to 10; Toronto, ON) – “Imprint Canada is the marketing and information source for the Canadian Promotional Products Industry… The National Imprint Canada Show returns to Toronto, celebrating 25 years as Canada’s largest industry event!”
North American International Motorcycle Supershow (January 9 to 11; Toronto, ON) – “Browse this enormous show and you’ll find new and used motorcycles, aftermarket parts and accessories, rider apparel and helmets, performance equipment, trailers, travel destinations, custom bike builders, and a full range of fashions. You can also enjoy live bands, special guests, custom bikes, and much more!”
Canada’s Bridal Show (January 16 to 18; Toronto, ON) – “Canada’s Bridal Show is the largest and most prestigious bridal show in all of Canada. With over 40 years of making brides’ dreams come true, it has become the favourite resource for thousands of Canadian bridal couples from all over Ontario and the GTA.”
Montreal Auto Show (January 16 to 25; Toronto, ON) – “Founded in 1914 by the Corporation des concessionnaires d’automobiles de Montréal, the Montreal International Auto Show is the most important auto show in Québec.”
Toronto International Boat Show (January 17 to 25; Toronto, ON) – “Welcome to the Toronto International Boat Show. Boating is a lifestyle – a way to connect with family, escape the stress on land and experience the unique freedom of being on the water.”
Grow Up Conference & Expo (January 19 to 21; Vancouver, BC) – “With over 100 world-class speakers, our informative panels will bring you up-to-speed with what is happened in the cannabis cultivation and extraction industry, nationally and abroad. Our sessions are dedicated to the hottest topics, latest trends and the future of cannabis.”
Interior Design Show (January 22 to 25; Toronto, ON) – “The Interior Design Show celebrates and promotes the best in global and Canadian design, from emerging designers to legacy brands. IDS is not just a fair – it’s a total design experience.”
Toronto Market Week (January 22 to 29; Toronto, ON) – “Toronto Market Week is a wholesale show in the gift, home, and fashion industry all at The International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Creating THE destination for buyers and retailers to source and purchase for their stores.”
Toronto Spring Gift & Home Market (January 25 to 29; Toronto, ON) – “Located exclusively at the Toronto Congress Centre, this free event provided qualified buyers in the gift, home, fashion, and lifestyle categories with the opportunity to source products from the industry’s most trusted exhibitors.”
Guelph Organic Conference (January 27-28; Guelph, ON) – The conference features more than 40 renown speakers, over 100 organic exhibitors, and a two-day trade show.
Home & Backyard Show (January 30 to February 1; Toronto, ON) – “Whether you are planning a renovation or custom build, or want to bring the fun to your backyard, this is the show for you. Meet more than 250 vendors with everything from building products and services, to landscapers, gardening experts, BBQs, spas and pools.”
