Labour Day weekend is upon us!

It feels like yesterday we were welcoming the sunshine and planning weekend get-aways. And now, the kids are heading back to school.

Many people will be spending the coming days enjoying what’s left of summer. While our regular posts focus on market and trade information, we thought we’d use this one to help everyone make the most of summer 2019’s last long weekend. So to ensure it’s a good one, we found this list of safety tips to help you on your way. It offers suggestions for driving, boating, and fireworks safety, including:

• Ensuring your car is in good working order,
• Swapping drivers to avoid fatigue,
• Always wear a life jacket, and
• Keeping fireworks out of reach of children.

The list was originally compiled for the start of the summer season, but the tips still apply. So read them, be safe, and have a wonderful long weekend!
